Led by Captain Katie Love, NAMS Associate Marine Surveyor, Love Maritime Group provides marine surveying, compliance support, auditing, consulting, expert witness, and project management services to commercial and recreational marine clients throughout the West Coast and beyond. Her approach combines extensive vessel-operating experience with technical expertise in marine safety, regulatory compliance, risk management, and vessel condition assessment.

Katie’s maritime career spans more than 20 years across commercial towing, harbor operations, offshore supply vessels, yachts, racing sailboats, and shoreside marine management. She holds a U.S. Coast Guard 1,600 Ton Master License and Unlimited Second Mate, Oceans License, with extensive experience in vessel command, inspections, towing and offshore operations, marine safety, and complex project execution.

In addition to her marine surveying and operational background, Katie is an ISO Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, as well as an ABS Certified ISM Lead Auditor. Her experience includes vessel and shoreside audits, regulatory and Safety Management System compliance, incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action management, risk assessments, and SMS development and implementation.
